THIS INNER POWER SPEAKS
By B.J. Palmer

WE CHIROPRACTORS work with the subtle substance of the soul.

We release the prisoned impulse, the tiny rivulet of force that emanates
from the mind and flows over the nerves to the cells and stirs them into life.
We deal with the magic power that transforms common food into living, loving, thinking clay; that robes the earth with beauty, and hues and scents the flowers with the glory of the air.

With tireless energy it blows the bubble of each individual life and then silently, relentlessly dissolves the form, and absorbs the spirit into itself again.

And yet you ask, “Can Chiropractic cure appendicitis or the ‘flu’?”
Have you more faith in a knife or a spoonful of medicine than in the Innate power that animates the internal living world?

Tithe

A tenth of the produce of the earth consecrated and set apart for special purposes. The dedication of a tenth to God was recognized as a duty before the time of Moses. Abraham paid tithes to Melchizedek ( Genesis 14:20 ; Hebrews 7:6 ); and Jacob vowed unto the Lord and said, "Of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee."

I on the other am more of at give back type of guy. Not to a church, but to my patients, friends, family and community. I do believe that when you give, you get back 10-100 fold.

How is it that you give back and keep yourself open to the abundance that the universe has in store for us all?

There is a 4 min. interruption in this episode that I did not cut out for one simple reason, the information in that 4 min. is valuable and I wanted you all to know that it is there and I did not delete something that my father said.

In this episode I realized something HUGE! If you believe in God, but do not believe that our bodies were made perfectly, then you do no believe in Universal Intelligence or Innate. My father says that the words are interchangeable and it is a matter of semantics, but I believe it is a bridge for people to be able to better understand how our bodies and the universe work and how religion and science can function together.

Am I reaching a little to deep? I don't know, you tell me.

Hey Docs,

Have you ever felt like you wanted to get better clinical results in practice, but that you were missing something?

You thought you would get all of the answers in school, but after graduating no one made the neurologic connections for you.  So you keep attending continuing education courses to find the answer.  You know the brain is important, but you don’t know where to begin with Neurology, making it much easier to ignore it completely and continue doing the same old thing with your patients.

Have you ever had a patient ask you a question and you didn’t know the answer?  You have your normal patient flow, the things you do with all patients.  When someone veers off that course and asks you a question, isn’t it frustrating, or do you catch yourself giving the same generic response just to move past that question.  I mean with all of your training how is it possible that you still don’t know how the brain controls human function.

If you have ever felt like this don’t worry you are not alone. Have a listen to Dr. Krista Burns and learn how Postural Neurology can help you grow your practice.

Answers

At the beginning, we anticipate this subject, as presented, will be taken at face value and understood by some, even many of our profession. Many, in our opinion, possess preconceived ideas which need reconstruction.

We record our knowledge, gained through research, of the fundamentals upon which Chiropractic rests as promulgated by our father but never clearly explained by him. By careful reading of his writings, gleanings of these ideas are apparent.
